Is there a simple way in MCreator to rename previously imported textures? A lot of my elements ended up changing function from when I first created the texture, and now they're named incorrectly, or they have version numbers on them. Is there any easy/simple way to rename the textures without having to manually go into each element to re-select a texture?
you could save them as new textures, with your desired name, then just delete the old one, but then you probably have to re apply everything, other than that im not sure
I have a lot of them that I need to rename so I was hoping there was an MCreator way of rebuilding the code. Guess I'll have to do it all manually. Thanks for your help.
hey I found a way! so go to the workspace file browser (the thing on the side)
then go to what ever the mod name is and expand it by pressing the arrow pointing down on the left
then expand the textures file and expand what ever the type of texture it is
and after that right click on any texture and click show in explorer and then you can rename all of the files in that folder
and sorry for being two minutes late on posting this
