Sun and moon suggestions!

I am NO coder, so I don't know how this would be pulled off, but I'd personally love to see a way to customize the orbital parent and child(ren) of a dimension, or the Sun and Moon. I find myself not using the normal or end generation in my mods very much because the sky feels really bland. The End has a unique sky, so why can't our custom dimensions? We can already change its color, I just need to change the celestial objects. Perhaps you could create an 8x8 texture for both of them (+ their cycles) and use those.
