MCreator "Not responding" when I changed the workspace. 1.20.x SOLVED

So I switched my mod workspace version to 1.20.x Friday afternoon and today (Saturday) It's still saying Gradle: Build, AND I have the rainbow pinwheel of death. Now, I have a 9-year-old Mac, so it might just be performance, but every other app I have open still works completely fine. Any way to fix it?
