[solved] How to make a entity interact with the player though geckolib animation?
Thu, 01/25/2024 - 00:53 (edited)

Hello everyone, im new to animation with modded minecraft and know a bit about geckolib and just switched to mcreator.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to make a npc/mob interact with the player with animation though the geckolib plugin.

Like a npc plays a animation of taking a item from the players hand and the player holds it up.

I know you can use the players hands but I want the animation showing to other players and in 3d person.

Thank you!!!

edit:

I figured out I can use entity iterator

I'm new too so I'm not sure, but you might have to create a "Player"
model in the interaction animation and link it to the player's skin,
 making their actual character invisible.
