Hey guys, so I was planning on a mod based on poisonous stuff, and then I came to a realization that I do not know how to make a block poison you. can someone show me for solid blocks and pass-through blocks?
All you need is to make a trigger on When entity collides into block or entity walks on block. Then just the Just add potion effect. the level of the effect is +1, so for Level 2 you would place a 1 in the level slot. then ticks is seconds times 20.
