I am trying to add a custom armor texture from a texture pack but it’s leather armor and ik leather armor has 4 files for its equipped texture and I can only add 2 layers to the armor texture when adding it into MCreator
layer one has three textures in one file(helmet, chestplate, and boots), layer two is leggings. I don't know why Minecraft(not just MCreator) does this, but you only need the two layers, one just contains three textures in one
Here is the issue the leather armor texture I want to use has some of the actual texture part on the
overlay_layer.pngfiles how would I add these??I think that currently, overlay textures for armor aren't supported in MCreator without custom coding. Somebody else might be able to provide a solution or a workaround, as I don't have a lot of experience with the most recent MCreator version.
