i want to make a scythe that has netherite axe stats but has also sweeping edge but with custom sweep particles. i've done all of it by making it a sword, creating a custom animated particle and spawning it where the player is looking and when is hitting an entity, but because i made it a sword it spawn the default sweep particles too, and i want the weapon to have the sword enchantment. please help me im going insane, i literally searched hundreds of forums this entire week.

then ignore it or make it so slow that it cant sweep but that would make the item slowly get pulled up
i probably should make it an axe and say goodbye to the sword enchantments but i have faith that someone can solve my problem
