how to change player's skin ingame?

^{i am making a minecraft mod that includes a berry that makes your character made out of metal, how would i add an effect that desaturates the player's skin ingame}

stickfigure turns into metal n stuff

There is Plugin that allows you to do this. Even allows you to add/replace Models for an Entity.
