I want to create a forest biome

I would like to generate a personalized forest biome, I created the biome and suggested (mcreator v.2024) to add trees in functionality, but it does not work, I then created but my own trees but, it spawns sometimes above the water and can't be close so there is a tree by chuck, in short, you can help me, there is no recent tutorial on trees and the software has changed too much
