I am trying to make a custom villager, so I went into my Minecraft folder and found the villager texture and made a custom one. But when I load the mod it still has the nose and the apron, even though they do not exist in the texture.

is it a custom entity or villager proffesion?
if its a villager prof, then the robes will always be there, even if you make a texture for the profession, its so you can differentiate the different the different biomes the villagers are spawned in.
