Hello,
I need help with loot table commands. I've tried YouTube videos and other posts on the forum, but every time I try the command out it is either is invalid or in the chat it says changed block data of cords, but every time the chest is empty.And just to make sure its incorrect ,I press control+mmb and each time get no chest. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I need help. I have tried for three days already.
/give @s chest[container_loot={loot_table:"Star_Wars_ the_clone_wars:chests/Wrecked_aat"}] 1
that's the command I use, Star Wars the clone wars is my mod name, and Wrecked aat is my loot table
why gta with minecraft there's a big difference

Ok, there’s your mistake! No capital letters in commands! Well, sometimes you need capital letters, but not in this case. Try without capital letters. Hope that this works! :D
I realize that the exclamation points in my comment makes it exasperated. I’m just excited, that’s all.
I get a chest, but with no loot in it! and in chat it said it gave me a plain chest.
or does loot appear when I put it in my structure?
no, i checked its just a plain chest.
I fixed it, tried first command and the loot was randomized. thank you so much for you time and help darkcloak.

Hi guys, i have the same problem as Radscientist and I came across your thread while searching for help
Radscientist you said you fixed it, can you please copy paste the command that is working for you ?
I tried everything that has been said in this post and in other places and nothing is working.
The command DarkCloak is writing seems valid because it doesnt turn red in the command block, but when i use it, i only get an empty chest.
I verified multiple times and i have mad no spelling or mistake with capital letters, the name of my loot table is not in capital letters too.
I used mctools to create my loot table, maybe it's not up to date anymore ?
try the first command, and use neoforge 1.21 it works im sure
have you made a chest loot table, if not make it
