I haven't used MCreator in 3 years, I'm back but I'm rusty and I don't know anything, how do I make a mod for 1.16.5 for Forge? I see that MCreator only lets me select Forge for 1.20.1, and I don't understand that.

the only way is to use this plugin: https://mcreator.net/plugin/96320/minecraft-forge-1165-mods-generator but it still is not available for 2025.1, so you can't for now, wait for an update or use it with 2024.4
