How to make an animated armor texture with nerdys gekolib plugin?

Hi! im trying to make a set of armor thats a moving rainbow on the 2d part thats very easy, but on the 3D part that is as far as im aware impossible but apparently this plugin can fix that but i still cant save animated textures as armor layers. And i dont know what im doing with the procedures or what i need to do
