Topic category: Help with MCreator software
I've had this issue for a while now, but now that I am using procedures with larger amounts of blocks, the lag is getting insane(3fps at times). It freezes for seconds each time I open a procedure, and I get at-most 10fps while editing, down to ~3 while scrolling/zooming/dragging.
To be fair, I am using an older version of MCreator(2024.4) and have some plugins(Forge 1.20.1 Generator, GeckoLib, PlayerAnimator, Procedures+), but I don't really get why they would cause this much lag.
I did check the recommended software requirements, and I well surpass them. (Windows 10 64-Bit, 24GB RAM, 8-core Ryzen 7 5700X & RTX 3060, 270GB free storage, and a stable and speedy internet connection)
That happens to me too, I think the only solution is to split big procedures into small ones and use the call block to execute them in order
This should be improved in more recent versions of MCreator.
Not using background images also helps (if you use them)
