Please help. I made a new tree type for a new nether biome, but it won't generate in the nether (trees don't do that I know). So I made my tree a structure, and made a function that should spawn them in the biome. But now, when I open my minecraft and click create new world, minecraft says saving world and closes. Why does he do that and how do I stop that. Is it a crash or something else (I think its a crash, I have a bad laptop but I REALLY WANT TO TEST MY MOD)
can you show your function (procedure?) and other related elements?
yea, I might have deleted the function so I could test the other things, and now im trying with just adding a structure, ive selected the tree, I set it to underground structure because it has to spawn in the nether, but when I open my world, they don't spawn so HOW
I also found something on reddit, but I don't know how the code thing works.

use a feature so you have more placement options,

ok I will try that, thanks :)
oh man WHY. My feature thing stands on code thingie (with text, not blocks) and I don't know how to turn it back.
did you lock it?
oh good I got it back to blocks somehow
ok lets try
I made the feature, imma test it
I hope my minecraft doesnt crash
it did not crash, thats a very good sign
OMG IT WORKED THANK YOU SO MUCH
One other question: do you also know how to let plants generate in the nether (and then like very common, such as grass in the overworld)?
