is it possible to make a resource pack for the elytra in 1.12.2?

Basically i wanted to make a glider resource pack for elytra. But is that possible with mcreator in 1.12.2. But if it's possible to make elytra invisible or something  maybe that'll help idk cas i wanted to make it like this thumbnail glider or similar to it.
