Questions About Making A New Block 123

I was wondering, how can you make a stair and what to the options on the first menu mean? Like what does the transparency type mean? Like what is the difference from cutout to solid. ALSO how can you make a block that has connected textures?

Nevermind I found it, it was just on the TX block option when creating it, not just a plain block

Transparency type is what…

Transparency type is what type of transparency you are using (if you are using any). Translucent is supposed to make your block partially see-through (but I think it requires alpha colouring on your textures) and cutout means that any blank space on the texture is invisible rather than black.

Hope this helped!
