Update: I noticed that I had to use Forge (for 1.10.2). So I downloaded it. Still doesnt works. Help?

I am using Forge (for 1.11.2) to download mods into my game. I am working on a mod, but I decided on testing it. When I exported it as a .jar file, I uploaded it into my Mods folder. When I opened my game, it didn't appear in the game. I wondered if I made something wrong with the mod, so I made a new mod which included a solid, no effect included random block. It also didn't appear in the game. Am I doing something wrong?

1. If you want to test your mod, there is no need to export it. Just click the play-like button on the top toolbar, and it will start a test client.

2. Make sure you are using the Forge profile in your Minecraft Launcher, if you definitely are try placing the mod in another folder inside /mods called 1.10.2 (or whatever version your mod is), put it in there.

If that's confusing, it should go like this:

.minecraft/mods/1.10.2/YOURMODHERE

Hope this helped!
