How do I figure out what's wrong with various mod Elements?

Sorry if someone's already made a thread similar to this.

You know how when you've just made a new mod element & then it comes up with an error. (Especially mobs.) & it doesn't tell you whats wrong or how to fix it.

Is there a way of finding out whats wrong or faulty with mod elements? (An easy way as I can't code or anything.)

Please help me.

Usually if there is something wrong with mod element you will get popup window with console that says whats wrong and where but if you get error and nothing shows up in console then there is a problem that is not inside testenvironment or its just a bug

Search on our website is quite powerful. You can try to search for parts of the error log in the Console tab to get more info.

In MCreator 1.8.0 I found out that there was something wrong with the name of the model I was trying to use. But however, what does "whitespace" or ASCII mean?

Probably that you've used a space " " in the name of the model, and MCreator can't load it that way. Try replacing any spaces with underscores "_" or just remove them altogether.

Ok, thank you. I'm already fairly certain I didn't use any spaces but I'll check again.

And what about capital letters? Are they acceptable?
