I have a lot of ideas for my mod, so I am hoping some of these features can be added in the future! Of course, I realize that not all of these features are possible, but one can dream right? Thank you for all the hard work you've put into Mcreator! If any of these are already possible, please enlighten me as this would enable me to get things done with my mod!

 

-REPAIR RECIPES-

Ability to give tools/weapons/etc. a repair item. Would love to have a modded tool repairable with an item or even with a mod item.

 

-MOD RECIPES APPEARING WITHIN THE VANILLA RECIPE BOOK-

Would make it very easy who those coming into the mod to easily find out how to craft some of the recipes without needing a guide. Maybe additional support with the tabs.

 

-OPTION FOR RANGED WEAPONS TO NOT REQUIRE AMMO-

One of my most ambitious requests. I have a ton of ideas for ranged weapons, but some require that I don't need ammo to "shoot" or "use" the weapon. I've tried workarounds but the whole process doesn't work unless there's an option for no ammo requirements.

 

-JSON MODELING SUPPORT FOR 3D BULLET MODELS-

Java is supported but I'm on a mac, and the only modeling option I was able to find was Blockbench, which seems to not be able to make java modeling files.

 

-PROCEDURE: ENTITY OR PLAYER MANAGEMENT - REMOVE ALL POTION EFFECTS-

Whilst we have a procedure to add potion effects to a player, I would love one to remove all potion effects, which would enable to make a very creative idea of mine possible.

 

-PLAYER KILLS ENTITY TRIGGER-

Another really highly ambitious request. Already requested in another post but still going to list it here. This would allow users to add a loot system based on killing mobs. Had it in 1.8.0 but changed in 1.8.1. Hoping to see it added in the next update!

 

-OPTION TO NAME INDIVIDUAL PIECES OF ARMOR-

Example, I made a piece of armor called "Snorkel" which allows water breathing when worn, except the item is called "Snorkel Helmet".

 

-OPTION FOR CUSTOM ARMOR MODELS-

Just think of all the possibilities...

 

-OPTION TO SET RPMS FOR RANGED WEAPONS-

At the moment, it seems you can spam a weapon as fast as possible. Being able to set an RPM or "speed" or something would enable users to create many variants of ranged weapons.

If you want to suggest some features, if you open an issue on the issue tracker it's more likely that it will be added :)

Anyways, here is my opinion on these ideas:

1: I support this idea.

2:There's already an issue about this

3:You can set air as ammo so it won't consume any item

4:I have never used custom bullets and I have a windows computer so I don't know what to say about this XD

5: Cool idea. It would be nice if we were also able to remove only one of the potion effects, so we can make items/weapon that only remove bad effects or only remove a few of them

6: As you said, there is already an issue, but I think it's still a good idea

7: You can rename it using lang files but I'm not sure if Mcreator overwrites them

8: I think there is already an issue about this, anyway it's a great idea

Nice feature list. Forums are the right place to post this, not the tracker itself :)

For 7, yes MCreator will overwrite them on import, but I will fix this so that locked mod elements won't do this in 1.8.3.

Hmmmm...I just tried this, setting ammo to "blocks.air" and whilst it worked in creative, it won't work in survival. Were you able to do this in survival?

In my previous comment I actually meant to open an issue tracker for each feature, not an issue tracker wishlist (I'm sorry for my bad English XD)
