Help with crops

Hi everyone, I just started using MCreator and I'm working on an unstable ores mod. I was trying to make a new type of crop but the add plant element isn't for growing crops like wheat, only elements like flowers and long grass in the world, how can I add crops with different stages of growth that are planted with a seed on farmland?
