MCreator 1.8.0 MineCraft 1.12.2
I make a custom block whose model is defined by json.
Like the image, when I set the block, the surrounding surfaces touching it become dark.
How can I remove the darkness?

First, update MCreator to 1.8.2.
To fix your issue, set the light opacity of your block to 0 so the light can pass through it.
