Hello, I am TakeANotch
This is my First time posting on the forums, (It only took me 8 Months). Anyways, I need help to develop a mod, I am trying to figure out how to make a sword teleport you forward in the direction you're facing. I think this is more complex than other features, like most others in this forum section I am fairly new to modding (So don't go down below, scream at how dumb I am, instead of helping me with the problem and wasting your time).
If you still don't understand: All I want to do is detect the player's direction, and teleport 5-10 Blocks Ahead of them.
NOTE: TakeANotch is My MC Username.
You could use a ranged item to achieve this and teleport player to the location of its missile where it lands using procedures.
I think I know what to do I will just make it a Ranged Item, Do that. And Add Haste to substitute the damage.
