I can't remove items from inventory

Hi, every time I try to remove something that it's used to, I can't, example: I have a pumpkin in the hand and an apple in the inventory, if I program that when I right click the pumpkin it has to remove itself (the pumpkin) and the apple, it will remove only the apple, so it can't remove itself, or better, it removes itself but one millisecond later it reappears.
