Whenever you use a custom crafting table to create an item, and you try to take it out, it disappears and the items to make it reappear in the slots. Also if you use shift to put it in your inventory, which works, but when you try to pick it up it immediately disappears. Please don't reply that I need to watch the custom crafting table video because I did watch it, and it still wasn't working.
You most likely didn't follow it properly. You need to use inherited inventory, bind GUI to the block and enable inventory on the block. And make sure to use block procedures for slots, not GUI ones.
I did that, and it just crashes the game whenever I try to open it.
You have missed some steps then. Go to this page: https://mcreator.net/node/42649/ and download mcr file. You have a working example in this workspace and observe how this one is made.
