Textures not correctly showing in workspace

For some reason, my textures look different in the workspace than when viewed alone. It's confusing sometimes because I have to check if the right textures are chosen for everything.

I'll try to explain what I did in steps:

  1. Start a new project/workspace
  2. Create new material pack
  3. Delete the premade textures
  4. Import my own custom textures with names like topaz_sword, topaz_pickaxe, topaz boots, topaz, etc.
  5. Workspace picture displays old premade textures instead of my custom ones

I'll attach another photo which makes my issue appear more obvious

That does not affect the texture in game so it it's a minor issue

But yeah it's weird
