How do I make a vanilla potion with modded ingredients?

So... I'm making a mod that's basically all about substitutes for vanilla potions, so that I can use a modded ingredient and create a vanilla potion. Anyone know how to do this?

btw would this belong in "Help with MCreator software" or "Help with modding"?

I'm fairly certain that the tutorial you listed refers to potions you already have in your mod and how brew ingredients into those. What I'm looking for is modded ingredients brewing into VANILLA potions. I could be wrong, but I think that's what it pertains to.
