I'm excited about support for Bedrock Edition Add-Ons!

Well, this was certainly an unexpected development. And although I don't really play Bedrock edition, I'm still curious to see what the community makes of this new world of opportunity! I feel like this is what MC Bedrock needs to get Addons off the ground. Right now they're pretty niche, like Java mods were when Minecraft was still in its infancy- but with the ease-of-access MCreator will bring to the Bedrock community I could really see things getting shaken up sometime soon.

Thank you MCreator devs for constantly maintaining your well-earned title as the "best Minecraft mod maker ever".

Part of this is the fact that they are very limited too :)

Thank you MCreator devs for constantly maintaining your well-earned title as the "best Minecraft mod maker ever".

Thanks! :D

Can you add 1.12.2 to 2020.3? I’m working on a 1.12.2 mod and want to update. I’m ok with porting the mod to 1.15 too,

Sorry, bud. Not gonna happen. The MCreator team didn't just remove 1.12 on a whim. It takes a lot of resources to make everything work between multiple versions, because a lot of the code behind the scenes can be drastically different between MC versions. The second reason is that Forge is gradually trying to phase out 1.12 in favor of 1.14 or higher, so 1.14 and 1.15 are their new "standard" versions.

I'm looking forward for all the add-ons that will can be created now. It's a whole new space to explore!

In what way are add-ons limited, compared to mods? I'm guessing we can't use procedures on them?

Gradle can be used for C too.

But here it is used for exporting only. Gradle is a build automation system, where is the curse here?

MCreator uses gradle as a build automation core.

It is not a really wise idea to show your full name on the internet...
