Grass Block Colors

When i made a compacted grass block, the colors wont change dependent on the biome. could you make it so when you make a block, under the texture where u can shoose if it is a slab or whatever, add grass so it changes? now it looks a bit weird and the leaves option only allows the block to have the same side
