Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Hello there, over the last couple of days I've been trying to install MCreator on my laptop, but it always ends up getting stuck on "Setting up Gradle Project", with the last thing showing up in the console "Running 'decompile'" and on the task "eclipseClasspath". This is a fresh install of MCreator, and I have run it overnight to see if it was just taking a long time, but it is still stuck. Any help would be appreciated ASAP.

Try reinstalling and make sure AV is not blocking MCreator
I meet most of the recommended requirements, with the only one I do not fully meet being ram. However, I do have 4 GB of ram on my laptop, meeting the minimum requirement for that. MCreator (or at least Open JDK Binary since that is the closest thing I saw) is also not blocked by the Windows Firewall, and I have no other antivirus installed.
Also, I have reinstalled twice before.
Oh yeah, I fixed this about two days ago. Figured out I needed to increase the Virtual RAM on the laptop, since it takes more than the minimum to create the project. Leaving this here for future reference.
How much? I increased Virtual Memory a random amount but it still is stuck on loading.
Change your power option to "Ultimate performance"
Nothing from here didint worked in my situation :( i cant still make and open mods... or even update existing ones because of gradle project issue

Hello! I am having the same issue, but nothing in here seems to be fixing it, I tried increasing Virtual Memory, Rebooting several times, re-installing MCreator several times as well but nothing seems to be working.
That's sad... i have a gaming pc and i have the same issue...
for me too unaffective

sad even with a good gaming pc it takes 3 hours and still not loading, and I meet all of the recommended specs

We are having the same Issue, Please someone help. my grandson is autistic and has been looking forward to using this. Now it wont work. He has been crying off and on now for 2 hours. Please give a solution.
