I exported my mod to a JAR file so I can use it in my normal Minecraft but when I open it the forge doesn't detect the mod.

I exported my mod to a JAR file so I can use it in my normal Minecraft but when I open it the forge doesn't detect the mod.
you must use mcreators export and if you unzip it and put those files in a jar file it will not work
I used the Mcreator export but it still does not detect my mod.
are you sure the version of Minecraft you are using is correct? And you put it in the mods directory?
Yeah. I'm using the 1.15.2 and it's in the mods folder. I even tried to use the same forge version but it doesn't work.

are you sure you put it in
library-application support-Minecraft-mods
and not
library-application support-Minecraft-libraries-cpw-mods
?
Yeah. I put it with the mods that I use but it doesn't appear when I start the game unlike the rest of the mods.
