Majora's Mask Cycle-styled mod

Broski here,

I thought it would be cool if there was a mod where you had 5(this can be any number, I just thought that was a good amount) days to get a specific item or something until the world ends and you permanently die. But if you get the item before that, then you can reset it to day 1, but the world regenerates and all that you built would be lost. You would still have your inventory. Does anybody know about a mod like this that exists? Or does anyone know how to regenerate a world using code/procedures? I would really like some help.
