Topic category: Help with MCreator software
Hello, I have recently started my adventure with Mcreator. As the first project I'am trying to create a stairs block with two differents textures to be able to create the asphalt road with curb. I manage to do it but the textures only work when I put the block in one way. When I try to place a block on left, right side or create corners, the positions of the textures stay only in position they were created in mcreator. I found the solution to create external textures and block for the positions I want to make but If I do that, I will end up with 12 blocks, instead of 1. I upload the picture to show exactly what I mean. Sry for my English.
I would like ask for help with solution if there is one, to fix that problem. Thanks.
That's a problem with how Minecraft handles slab textures - I don't think they had roads in mind when creating stairs. Your idea is certainly very creative but unfortunately outside of MCreator's scope; the way those textures work is a part of Minecraft itself.
