1.12.2: shooting custom ranged item tutorial needed :<

Okay, dear everyone, I started creating 1.12.2 port for my mod.
I started recreating procedures, knowing that there will be probably some things that I need to go around, but.. didn't expect ranged item to be set only to arrows O.o

So, I would love so much if someone could explain me how to code that, so I can shoot custom bullet I created. I have completely no idea, and I don't want firearms shooting arrows, haha.
If it can be done via commands/functions, I'd love to know the way. Currently I think there are two ways, being 1) summoning bullet directly, 2) shooting arrow which converts into bullet. But I still can't think how to create that

(if it's anyhow important: I use 2020.2)

...eh. I  K N O W ?

I'm asking for people who know coding, not for obvious comments of 2020.2 being not the newest version of MCreator. I get it totally, this is why I'm writing everywhere that this is "1.12.2" / "2020.2". Even in terms of 1.12.2 plugin for 2021.1, this feature is still not available.
With such behaviour, Good Old Games service would never exist, because people would think "bleh, Morrowind is outdated anyway, why bother making it more accessible on Windows 10". People asked me for making 1.12.2 version of my mod, so here I am, asking.

Tl;dr: if you do not have anything helpful to say, it's better to just not say anything than be mean.
