Find position of certain block?

So i'm trying to get a position of a block within a 10 block radius. i'm using the 6x6x6 template.. not im trying to figure out how when a certain block is detected, to do something with it. for example, if stone is in a 10x10 radius, replace it with grass. or maybe even find its position. any way to figure this out? thanks!
