I actually have a good suggestion this time, to avoid the low-effort mods in MCreators page, why not make it so you can not publish a mod if your account is 1-2days old. that way the low-effort mods would decrease and it would not be filled with them on the Mods Page.
As for the forums, I guess many people make accounts to ask questions, so forums would remain the same. Just the Mods to avoid a lot of taking down.
I don't think thats a good idea beacause there are people that use mcreator but have made their account recently. Furthemore the cooldown time is useless because anyone can post bad mod when he want
Me want as well that this site is clear from this bad content :) .The best solution is to hire more moderators.
I mean, let's pretend you are a trashy modder, and you want to troll the page and you make a mod page with a banana thumbnail and a ton of random letters in description, if you were to do that, you want to make a new account so your main doesn't get deleted, or if your new, you will most likely forget you were going to do that. I believe that a high percent would stop, and obviously it won't completely vanish, but it would be a lot less. also an alternative could be if your mod page gets taken down, like 1-2 days cooldown to not publish anything on the mod pages

Idk, but I surely almost all trash modder are kids, so with a cooldown they get bored and don't post bad mod
But remember that there are people that made a wrong mod page because they don't know how to do a good page, but their mod are good and a cooldown will let they down
then a moderator can choose cooldown :)
You should need to have a certain amount of User Points before you can post mods
ok that might be a little excessive, but if mods balance it out it could work
I agree with this, if we had a cooldown it would definitely stop spammy mods, i literally just looked at the "recent modifications" tab and found a spam mod created by someone who joined 6 hours ago.
