I looked at the Tool element and thinked that adding too many blocks one by one can be very time consuming for doing things like a Pickaxe-Axe or similars. Because of this, i figured that it would be very useful to be able to add block tags on the selection menu for the Multitool, so for example if you need to make a tool that breaks only Planks and Stone, you could add the "minecraft:planks" and "minecraft:stone" tags. I don't think there's a way of doing this, i only think it can be a great addition to the Multitool affected blocks.
If you want to do this click on the Blocks in the special tooltype after changing it affected button and then search for tags that you have the default tag is the wood tag
