I was trying to make an armour set and I have imported my custom texture, but whenever i choose that texture it says there is no texture name and doesn't let me continue. I am on a mac and am on one fo the older versions that supports 1.12.2

When you import a texture for an armor you should check that you imported the texture as armor layer not as other texture
