I made a new shield and I want unbreaking and mending to be able to be put on it. but if you use an anvil then you can put things like sharpness on it. how do i stop that?
You need to make your tool a "Custom" tool, then only enchantments that can be applied to items with durability, like unbreaking and mending, or custom enchants you set your shield to have, will be able to be applied
