I have clicked workspace settings, gone to edit the version, 1.18 and 1.16 are options but there is no option to push mods up to 1.19.
Is this just because we need to wait for Mcreator to add it as an option? Mostly wondering if it's worth making mods in 1.18, if we can eventually push them to 1.19 then I will but otherwise worried I would be wasting my time on dead end mods
1.19 just came out so we have to wait for forge to update to a stable version which can take time. Then the Mcreator team will begin working on updating to 1.19. If you did make mods in 1.18 you will be able to update them to 1.19, so it is worth making mods in 1.18 until 1.19 support is added
Ah perfect, good to know. Cheers for the fast answer I shall crack on with some of my simpler mods for now :)
I suggest you check our tutorials collection playlist on our YouTube channel which contains many examples and tutorials that can help you get started with MCreator: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAeL-oIFIEngE6jRgFYeFMfuj8WQsO3Ei
