Is it possible that the Piglin modded Item replaced through Procedures drop the modded item?

Hi guys, I want to know if someone knows about the question.

Because If I look into the Source Code of the Piglin it said that every Equipment drop itself if it get killed. But It seems that the modded Item didn't not drop itself.

Is it possible that the Piglin only drop the modded item in the Main Hand if I'm not in Creative or is this just unlucky that is not dropped itself?
