Is there a way to make it so the animations can be compatible with Epic Fight mod?

If you don't get what I mean, I mean this: there are some mods that use geckolib and can be perfectly used with the Epic Fight mod, making a really cool fight between your enemy and yourself.

For example, the time you'd receive damage when an animation plays is when the enemy actually does a motion with it's weapon to hit you
