How to use other mods items to create advancements

Hi

I am creating a mod pack in 1.18.2 and want to create advancements to guide the player along the pack with hints and tips for collecting different things throughout the pack. I would like to use the items for the mods I have collected together to use for the advancements but don't know how to load them up to be selected. I've looked through YT and the forums and cannot find anything that will help to make this work
