Topic category: Feature requests and ideas for MCreator
Do you consider integrating the neural network "Chat-GPT" into Mcreator? It will greatly simplify the mod creation process, especially at the procedure development stage.
In addition to making life easier for tens of thousands of mod developers on mcreator, "Chat-GPT" will also make the work of the program developers much easier.
Additionally, it will probably be possible to easily port mods from even the most disparate versions of Mcreator, regardless of whether the version is increased or decreased.
I really hope that this is at least on your roadmap.
... you don't know what you said.
Why don't I know what I said? I know everything. What could be unclear? I asked the MCreator developers, "Are you considering implementing the 'Chat-GPT' neural network?" This would significantly simplify life for you and mod developers. If you're referring to the second post, then I mean that "Chat-GPT" will likely give mod developers the ability to run a workspace even on old versions of MCreator if it was opened on a new one.
That is highly unlikely. First off, GPT would require the user's API key, which would cost to continue using. Secondly, GPT's information cuts off after 2021, making it very likely that code generated by GPT would have several mistakes. Thirdly, GPT is not trained on any data relating to MCreator's codebase, meaning it would take a lot of effort to properly adjust the prompt generation. And last but not least, such a system would take very long to develop, and put a lot of stress on the team maintaining it with nothing but their free time.
"Clear, understood."
