Support for older Minecraft versions on new Mcreator releases

It's a straightforward request, PLEASE pls pls pls pls make plugins able to make mods for older Minecraft versions please we need it! lately in 2023.1 to be exact the 1.16.5 support is removed, even plugins can't make it happen! it's really sad because there was a problem for people with older video cards not being able to run any version higher than 1.16.5, now 1.16.5 mods created with mcreator can't get the new super useful features from the latest mcreator updates! I really would appreciate any response even if it's disagreeing because I really wanna know if it's anywhere possible and thx. (':
