Features (be sure you are on the newest version available!)
Some features can be activated by gestures. (Join my Discord server and download the Python script to use this feature.)
Play your favourite character from Mako Mermaids and H2O!
When first entering a world, you will be prompted with a GUI selection screen.
Characters
Cleo, Emma, Rikki, Bella, Charlotte, Nixie, Lyla, Sirena, Mimmi, Ondina, Weilan, Zac, Cam, Evie
Commands
/change_character - Change your character
/what_character - See which character you selected
Abilities
All characters have different abilities based on the series.
Become a mermaid underwater or in the rain (rain disables positive status effects).
Swim faster underwater! (Hold C while swimming.)
Many new achievements.
Fight the Water Dragon. One hit and you will lose your mermaid form.
Half-mermaid = powers removed, full mermaid = death.
Turn the Tide (Zac & Weilan, B key): 5 seconds of immunity against the Water Dragon.
See the current moon phase by right-clicking on a bed or sleeping. You will be slow on land and need to "melt" yourself (not possible in cold areas).
Elemental Powers
Ice to Water - Cleo, Charlotte, Mako -> Down key
Water to Ice - Emma, Charlotte, Mako -> Up key
Ice to Air - Cleo, Charlotte, Mako -> X key
Water to Air - Rikki, Charlotte, Mako -> Right key
Water to Jelly - Bella -> Up key
Create Thunderstorm - Ondina, Sirena -> U key
Turn Invisible - Only Mako characters -> R key
Levitate Entities - Only Mako characters -> G key
Place Snow - Emma, Charlotte -> Up key
Pull Items - Only Mako characters -> Left key
All keybinds can be changed in the settings menu.
Additional Features
Heal yourself from the mermaid cold (cold areas) using Seahorse Powder.
Drink a Coconut Smoothie to become a mermaid after 10 seconds.
Open doors from further away.
Rikki sets things on fire during full moon (she has fire resistance during that time).

Moon Ring - Allows placing water on water (buggy) - Mako characters only
Ocean Cafe Menu - Currently useless
Intro Block - Plays the H2O intro
Seahorse Powder - Cures mermaid cold (Mako characters only, except Mimmi)

Seashell
Rope - 4 Strings
Seashell Bracelet - 4 seashells + 4 Ropes
Moon Crystal Ore - Very hard to mine. Drops: Moon Crystal -> Combine with trident to get Moon Trident
Moon Crystal Necklace - 7 Ropes and 1 Moon Crystal
Towel - 3 wool blocks (any color). All H2O characters except can use it to turn back into human form.
Speed Boat - Craftable like a normal boat, but with iron
Juice - Bottle + Apple + Carrot -> Turns you into a mermaid after 10 seconds
Coconut Smoothie - Turns you into a mermaid after 10 seconds
Smoothie - Bottle + Sweet Berries -> Turns you into a mermaid after 10 seconds
Jelly Block - Bella's power
Moon Water - If Cam touches it, he gains speed swimming. Removed by heat power or towel
Gestures
Emma: Water to Ice
Rikki: Melt Water (currently broken)
Mako: Levitate Mobs
Bella: Water to Jelly

Updated the panorama to an in-game screenshot (the old one was broken, and this one is maybe only temporary. You can design one and send it to me on Discord if you want!)
Renamed the Creative Tab to "Mako Mermaids Mod" (+ it now has a search bar)
Nerfed all armor to make it more balanced (Damage Absorption: 50, Damage Values: 8;10;8;5, Toughness: 10, Knockback Resistance: 1, Can be repaired with Moon Crystal)
Please give me feedback on Discord on how to do further balancing!
Changed the mermaid effects to 45 ticks length and mostly level 1 up to 255
Fixed that when levitating mobs, you won’t accidentally levitate yourself (finally <3)
Made it so that when transforming ice to air/water and placing ice, you can hold down the key instead of spamming it
