Personatour's "Super Powered" is a small mod that adds 15 unique super powered playable characters each with different themes, playstyles, and abilities. These characters are inspired by popular TV shows, Games, and Media.
Each character has 3 active abilities (G, H, J are the controls, configurable in minecraft settings, B if you are Mechanoid) and 1 passive ability. Unlike other "origin" or super power mods, these characters do not carry debuffs outside of their abilities as to not take away from the minecraft experience. each has been balanced to have strength and weaknesses on their own. each ability has a cooldown tweaked for its own balance.
The Following are descriptions of each Character:
[Brute]: Offense (Inspired by Conquest - Invincible)
Difficulty: 5/5
[Punch: you can punch strictly with your fist dealing tons of damage and lots of knockback, as well as some cool visuals. can 1 shot basic mobs, Right click a block to punch through it.]
[Takeoff: you can use this ability to perform a super jump, launching you upward. if you crouch while landing you will cause an explosion upon impact.]
[Uppercut: You can use this ability to launch opponants in the air, doing mediocre damage but also setting up for comboes with other moves, or just pure fall damage.]
[Downslam: If you attack an entity midair during takeoff without any abilities active, Passively you will perform a downslam, sending them downwards and exploding on impact.]
[Cyborg]: Agility (Inspired by Genos - One Punch Man)
Difficulty: 2/5
[Thruster: You can propell yourself up or break your fall.]
[Jet Rockets: You can fly upward and hover downward, if thrusters used while hovering downward you will directionally fly at the cost of fuel.]
[Refuel: Used to Refuel. taking 30 seconds and the cyborg is slowed while refueling.]
[Jaguar]: Agility, Survivalist (Inspired by Kitty Cats - Real Life)
Difficulty: 1/5
[Hiss: You can inflict poison and weakness to an entity you scratch. Freezes creepers and kills phantoms While Active you arent detected by creepers, phantoms, and endermen.]
[Purr: You can boost your movement and step height. If you crouch off of a ledge, you can pounce off of ledges and take no fall damage for up to 40 blocks.]
[Meow: You can grant yourself night vision for 5 seconds, followed by darkness for 7 seconds.]
[Silent Paws: Jaguars have a passive swift sneak and higher jump while crouched.]
[Reborne]: Survivalist (Inspired by TwoTime - Forsaken)
Difficulty: 3/5
[Illusion Crouch - Rebornes can crouch to become invisible upon using this ability. uncrouching will grant a speed boost.]
[Rebirth: Rebornes will rebirth into a second life if death meets them. if crouched, this ability will teleport you to your spawnpoint.]
[Repurpose: to bypass the extremely long cooldown on rebirth, if you activate this ability and sacrifice a mob, you can steal its life and obtain your second life back. 5 minute cooldown.]
[Soul Storage - XP is a harness for life. The Higher the level Reborne is, the faster the speed boost will be upon using their illusion crouch. caps at level 30.]
[Metamorph]: Agility, Offense, Utility (Created by Personatour)
Difficulty: 4/5
[Growth: metamorphs can grow to 3 blocks tall, granting strength and longer attack cooldowns. being in this form is exhausting and requires more food.]
[Shrink: metamorphs can shrink to 1/4 of a block tall. as well as being able to squeeze in tight gaps, you will be faster on foot while in this form. You cannot attack while in this form.]
[Size Reset: using this will revert a metamorph back to its original size, taking away all buffs and debuffs. You can only mine blocks while in this form.]
[Hidden Away: While in Shrunken form, metamorphs will be invisible inside of grass and ferns. You can hide inside of chests and decorated pots, and you can mount entities excluding players.]
[PeaceBringer]: Defense, Support (Inspired by Steven Universe - Steven Universe: The Movie]
Difficulty: 2/5
[Graceful: Peacemakers can use this ability to control their rate of descent.]
[Protective Shield: Summoning a shield, you can block with this shield once, then it breaks. after this shield is broken, you will recieve jump boost as well as a knockback bonus to put distance between you and your opponant.]
[Bubble: Peacebringers can summon a protective and oxygen tight bubble. Right clicking entities while having this bubble will pass it onto them.]
[Healing Properties: While graceful is active, Peacebringers can Right click an entity to apply health to it. this hurts undead mobs. You can right click a block to enhance its life, acting as bonemeal.]
[Wormholer] Agility, Utility - Created By Personatour / Inspired by Portal 2
Difficulty: 4/5
[Density Control: You can manually lower your gravity, and right click entities to apply the gravity to it. Hunger is extremely effected while active.]
[Telekenetic Hold: You can activate this to right click an entity, holding it in place for 7 seconds]
[Wormhole: Wormholers can shoot two projectiles, upon landing two portals will appear for 15 seconds which can teleport from eachother.]
[World Warp: Passively, Upon shift right clicking a block with your fist, you can apply gravity rules to it. Excludes bedrock, obsidian, and any block that has a redstone component on top of it.]
[Virus] NULL (Inspired by Noli - Myth)
Difficulty: 5/5
[VirusGUI- Toggles the Virus GUI Which can select targets and select yourself. Must charge & upgrade the GUI to access other abilities within.]
[Execute - A GUI upgrade which allows the virus to execute abilities on its selected target.]
[Inflict - A GUI upgrade which allows the virus to inflict itsself with various buffs and inject/override stats.]
[Clone - A GUI upgrade which allows the virus to clone itsself with functions it chooses (WIP)]
[Acrobat] Agility (Inspired by a large company owned character that i cannot disclose)
Difficulty: 3/5
[Lunge: Acrobats can launch themselves 10 blocks in any direction.]
[Accelerate: Acrobats can boost themselves forward midair and recieve speed, can be stacked and caps at 3.]
[Wall Hop: Use this ability to wall hop with a 1 second cooldown, can wall jump off of walls and corners.]
[Wall Slide: Passively while crouched, Acrobats can slide down walls to slow their momentum. if momentum reaches zero, fall damage is nullified. If fully surrounded by walls (1 by 1 square), you will fully stop.]
[Gunner] Offense (Inspired by Jetpack Joyride)
Difficulty: 4/5
[Burst Fire: Gunners can fire 3 bullets to doing mediocre damage but great knockback. Extremely innacurate if sight not toggled and you can aim downwards to propell yourself]
[Sight: Use this to zoom inwards, at the cost of movement. Using this will increase accuracy and effectiveness of your projectiles, as well as an upgraded crosshair for better aiming.]
[Snipe: Gunners can fire a singular long ranged, fast, accurate, and high damage projectile that can pierce 5 mobs. Extremely innacurate and low damage if sight not toggled.]
[Reload: Gunners can use copper ingots to reload Burst Fire and iron ingots to reload Snipe.]
[Gadgeteer] Utility
Difficulty: 5/5
[NOTE: Gadgeteer has no active abilities and can only toggle abilities in which they have to craft the gadgets necessary.]
[Scanner: Gadgeteers can press ability 1 to switch the scan type. If scanning ores, the scanner will notify the user of ores within a 4.5 block radius, and if you have the right techniques, you can pinpoint exactly where it is if youre strip mining. If you scan hostile/passive mobs, you will highlight the selected type within a 32 block radius]
[Displacer: With a 4 second charge up time, gadgeteers can teleport to the FIRST ACTIVE Signal Nexus within a 100 block radius.]
[Ping Remote/Receiver: Gadgeteers can use a ping remote to manually and wirelessly activate redstone on ping receivers within 50 blocks.
[Radar: Passively, Gadgeteers will be alerted if a mob sets its aggresion towards it and can be toggled on/off]
[Glacier] Agility, Defense (Inspired by Frozone - The Incredibles 1/2)
Difficulty: 4/5
[Frost Beam: Glaciers can shoot a high speed projectile which upon landing summons a cluster of ice.]
[Glide: Glaciers can glide on a controllable and turnable ice path and skate for a short period of time.]
[Ice Pillar: Glaciers can summon a controllable wall infront of them.]
[Hydration: all of Glaciers ability require hydration, which is refilled by water bottles and buckets.]
[WhirlPooler] Agility, Defense, Support
Difficulty: 3/5
SPECIALTY REQUIREMENT: Water
[Turbine: Whirlpoolers can propell themselves in a steerable turbine that travels and accelerates quickly.]
[WhirlPool: WhirlPoolers can Spin very fast to create a whirlpool which launches mobs, and upon launching a mob the whirlpooler will gain a speed boost.]
[Current: WhirlPoolers can use RMB on a block to create a current that pulls and slows entities within a 20 block radius.]
[Dive to the Depths: Whirlpoolers are built for the water, being able to breathe as long as they arent swimming, they are faster/can mine properly underwater, and they are faster when walking on the sea floor.]
[Prowler] Survivalist, Offense, Agility (Inspired by The Rake - Myth)
Difficulty: 4/5
SPECIALTY REQUIREMENT: Darkness
[Stalk: Prowlers can use stalk to go invisible, gain a speed boost, and have their footsteps quieter for 10 seconds. jumping is locked during stalk, although step height is increased.]
[Pounce: Prowlers lunge forward, attacking anything that collides with them. if used during stalk, Prowler gains HP, Hunger, and a stack towards Daylights Mercy.]
[Burrow: Prowlers will burrow into the block below it, becoming faster, sprinting and jumping is locked, Prowler is blinded and hunger is drained faster, mining is disabled, Most mobs will not attack prowler while burrowed, and prowler can burrow up to 2 block walls.]
[Daylights Mercy: Passively, in the light Prowler will recieve a status effect "Chained" meaning it cannot use its abilities. Daylights Mercy can be obtained with Prowlers abilities to use their abilities in the light. If Daylights Mercy Reaches 3 stacks, Prowler is Unchained.]
[Mechanoid] Defense, Utility, Survivalist (Inspired by WALL-E - Disney/Pixar's "WALL-E")
Difficulty: 2/5
SPECIALTY REQUIREMENT: Solar Power/Heat
[Detect: Mechanoids can toggle a secondary hud that detects chests, weather patterns, lava, battery level, and increasing fishing luck.]
[Compress: Mechanoids Compact themselves in to a small impenetrable box, disabling damage (only 50% of fall damage), at the cost of movement, mining, attacking, and building. Battery does not drain while Mechanoid is compressed.]
[Compartment: Mechanoid has an extra compartment in its chest with 5 extra inventory slots which do not drop on death.]
[Panel: Mechanoid has no passive, but it has ability 4 - Panel! Mechanoids abilities operate on a limited battery life, Panel if in a hot biome, nether, or beaches can charge the Mechanoids battery and allow for use of abilities again. Speed of charge depends on the warmth of the biome.
If you press escape whille choosing your power, you will play as a regular minecraft player. Controls are G, H, and J. (B as well) Press P to open stat and info menues. all controls are configurable in minecrafts "Keybinds" settings under "powers"
