Mobs as Blocks
What does this mod add?
This mod adds mobs that you can place and hold in your inventory
The list of mobs that are added are:
- zombie
- creeper
- magma cube
- chicken
- frog
- enderman
- pig
- panda
- villager
- axolotl
- blaze
- cow
- wither
- snow golem
- ghast
There are a block and item for each mob
I tried to add a iron golem and warden but the model was too big and minecraft wouldn't load it
Why would I want this mod?
This mod is great for decoration. Nobody would want to go near your house if there was a horde of zombies outside.
This mod is also good if you want to prank your friends. You could place down a creeper block but it wouldn't explode and they would think that it was an actual creeper and run away.
Or you can get it if you just want to mess around and have fun.
Why did you make this mod?
I just learned the basics of blockbench and was experimenting with it. I found it funny you could take the zombie model and import it into a java item model and make it so you can hold the zombie. It was just funny having a zombie. Its not something you see in minecraft usually. After a made a few resource packs I decided that it would be cool if I made a mod with a bunch of different mobs as items and blocks.
Why is this mod only 1.16.5?
I made this mod 1.16.5 because that is the main version of forge I play. I am also used to making forge mods for 1.16.5.
Other information
For the enderman block you need to place it on top of another block. For example if you placed the enderman block on the ground it would look like they were in the floor. What you need to do is place grass on the ground, put the enderman on top of the grass, then break the grass block and it would look right. The reason why I did this is because the enderman model was too tall so I had to put the model a little bit in the ground. (picture below)
This mod is called "mobs as blocks" but there are also items in the mod. This is because I thought that mobs as blocks and items was too long and just shortened it.
