This mod adds some mostly decorative ores, new gear crafted with vanilla materials, new enchantments, a quick smelting system for meat and ores, and a new dimension with 5 different biomes and many new ores and building blocks!

The new dimension is the biggest feature of this mod, with many new biomes to explore and blocks to mine. 3 of the new biomes are forest biomes, and the other 2 are the ice spikes and the desert.

  • The Amber Forest has yellow trees that split into multiple branches like the savanna biome.
  • The Azure Forest has blue trees that grow big and covered in vines, like the ones in the jungle biome.
  • The Amethyst Forest has tall. thin purple trees.
  • The Crystalline Ice Spikes have no trees, but are filled with pink ice pillars.
  • The Crystalline Desert has white sand and purple dead bushes.

To build a portal, you need to mine ores from the Overworld to craft and light it.

Silver (left) and Platinum (right) are used to craft the portal blocks and light the portal. Ruby, Sapphire, Jade, and Topaz (middle) are mainly used for decorative purposes, but they are also used in one special recipe for powerful tools. Ruby and Sapphire can be found anywhere, but Jade is found only in Lush Caves and Topaz is only found in Dripstone Caves.

The portal frame is crafted from copper, silver, and platinum, and you light the portal with a Rainbow Crystal. Rainbow Crystals are crafted using various Overworld materials, including Ender Pearls.

Silver, along with various vanilla ores, can be used for crafting tools in this mod as well. Every new tool has its own properties.

  • Copper tools are between stone and iron in strength, and copper armor is just a little worse than gold.
  • Silver gear is between iron and diamond in strength, but they are crafted with silver blocks rather than ingots because silver is a common ore and can be used for building like copper can.
  • Amethyst gear is between diamond and netherite in strength, but they are crafted on a smithing table by combining diamond tools with budding amethyst. You can craft budding amethyst by surrounding an amethyst block with amethyst shards in the crafting grid.
  • Lapis lazuli gear is similar to copper in strength, but has the highest enchantability of any gear set in the game.
  • Emerald tools have high attack speed and mining speed between iron and silver, but low attack damage. Emerald armor has low protection, but comes with knockback resistance.
  • Obsidian gear is almost unbreakable. The tools have low attack speed and high damage, and the same mining speed as iron. The armor has half the knockback resistance of netherite and and slightly better protection than gold.
  • Quartz gear has similar strength to copper, but higher durability. Another perk of quartz tools is that they don't burn in lava like netherite.
  • Glowstone tools have high attack and mining speed, but low damage and durability. These tools also do not burn in lava.

Netherite tools are buffed a little as well. Their mining speed and durability are increased, mostly because they are barely even better than diamond in vanilla. Netherite ingots are crafted with one extra gold as well, so make sure to use an extra ingot when making netherite for an extra buff. You can still craft vanilla netherite tools using the old netherite recipe, and existing vanilla gear and ingots can be upgraded with a gold ingot in the smithing table.

There are new ores in other dimensions too, like these ones in the Nether.

Charred Netherrack (middle) can be mined for coal chunks (which can be crafted into coal). Nether Iron Ore (sides) drops rusty iron, which is smelted into iron ingots. Citrine (top and bottom) is used for decorative purposes, and drops lots of experience.

The Mystic Realm has its fair share of ores as well.

The 2 on the right are quartz and lapis, like in the overworld and nether. On the left is Vibrite, which is used for similar thigs to coal, like fuel and torches. It can also be used to craft arrows. Pyrite (yellow) can be crafted into tools, or smelted into raw iron. Arcanium (purple) is also used to craft tools, as well as other things diamonds might be used to craft, like jukeboxes and enchanting tables. Aquamarine (cyan) is used for decorative purposes. Ancient Crystals (top) drop Mysticite Shards, which can be combined with Aquamarine and Arcanium to make Mysticite Crystals. Mysticite Crystals can be used to upgrade diamond or

Arcanium gear to extra powerful Mysticite gear.

Tools can be crafted from materials in the Mystic Realm as well. Tools made from Mystic Realm materials have higher durability and attack speed than their Overworld or Nether counterparts. Tools crafted from Cumulite (the stone in the Mystic Realm), are like stone tools, Pyrite tools are like iron, Arcanium tools are like diamond, and Mysticite tools are like netherite (but they still burn in lava). Arcanium tools can also be upgraded with Amethyst or Netherite to make tools like Amethyst or Netherite, but with the extra perks from Mystic Realm tools mentioned above.

You can make even stronger tools by upgrading Amethyst, Netherite, or Mysticite tools with another one of those materials.

However, combining all three requires Chromite, which is crafted using a little of all 3 of these materials, as well as a diamond and a block of Ruby, Sapphire, Jade, and Topaz. To upgrade a multi-material tool to the strongest tool in this mod, you need to craft a Chromite crystal with the missing material, then combine the tool with the new Chromite Crystal in the smithing table. Armor will work like this as well soon, but currently. you just upgrade diamond to Amethyst to Netherite to Mysticite.

Many new building blocks are added in this mod as well. Silver blocks can be crafted into cut silver in the crafting table, but using a stonecutter yields 4x the result (like copper).

Gems (like Ruby, Sapphire, Jade, Topaz, Citrine, and Aquamarine) can be made into bricks by surrounding them with stone bricks in the crafting grid.

Surrounding a gem, Vibrite, or an Amethyst shard with cobblestone creates a new light source, the gemlight. These come in a rainbow of colors, depending on which ore you craft them with.

This mod also adds a few enchantments. Smelting (for tools) auto-smelts metal ores and makes them drop extra experience. Reaching (also for tools) increases you reach for mining and placing blocks. Swift Swing (weapons) increases attack speed, but much less for axes than for swords.

Another small thing this mod adds is a quick way to smelt ores and meat. Coal can be crafted into chunks (which also drop from Charred Netherrack). Combine 2 coal chunks with a raw ore or meat to smelt it. Vibrite can also be crafted into fragments, which can be combined with raw ore or meat to smelt it. Smelting this way is faster, but more expensive.

Anyone can use this mod in private or shared modpacks, in fact, I highly recommend you do.

Feel free to suggest ideas (like some more uses for all these new ores) in the comment section!
