I've recently been working on a mod, and I added a new squid to it, and wanted to make a "hot springs" biome that is basically the basalt delta biome, but instead of lava, its water. I've been racking my brain at this for over an hour, and can't seem to find any kind of tutorial on it, I searched several things related to this on the forums, and found someone asking for help with swamp generation, but they never referred to where to find it.
Make it as a structure
Why a structure?
I have no clue why someone said to make it as a structure as there's already a built-in way to generate deltas. You're going to want to create a "Feature" mod element and then use the "Delta" feature (there should be a feature template for it to help), and you can customize the blocks and fluid as needed. As for the generation of the deltas and the biomes, I'm not the one to ask as I'm not sure how exactly basalt deltas handle generation.

It isn't working for me and I don't know why.
